With the start of each new year comes the opportunity to start again, reengage, and reconnect. This year is especially filled with possibilities as we mark a significant milestone. In 2024, we’ll celebrate 85 years of proudly serving the transportation community and following our sole purpose to enhance the financial well-being of our members and their families. We do that today just as we have for the last eight decades by focusing on people rather than profits.
Over our 85-year history, our decisions have always started with you, our members and have been rooted in the beliefs of service, strengthening financial lives and making a difference in the communities we serve. As we celebrate eight and half decades, we’ll be focused on increasing the financial wellness of our members and communities, simplifying products and services to make it easier for you to manage your financial life, and elevating the member experience in our branches.
In 2024 we will renew our commitment to helping members strengthen their financial lives with such tools as our Financial Wellness in Motion blog, packed with helpful tips and financial advice, as well as webinars to help you achieve your goals of home ownership, debt management, and more. Plus, we’ll be simplifying our products to better meet your unique financial needs. That includes redesigned checking accounts and improved Visa credit cards. We are also investing in our physical locations to better serve our members and our communities. In early 2024, we’ll celebrate the grand opening of our Volpe branch (formerly known as the Kendall Square branch). Our headquarters is currently being renovated with an updated training and community room, as well as an expanded footprint. We’re planning for a grand re-opening this spring.
