
New Online Voting Method Coming
As a Transportation Federal Credit Union member, you can help to elect who will represent and serve your interests on the Board of Directors. On Monday, April 13th, we will launch a new, fully online voting method for this year’s election. To prepare, please confirm that we have your current contact information including your email address on file. Read below to learn more.

Online Voting Platform
As we prepare for the upcoming election, please update your contact information and email address with us. All eligible members who have an email on file will receive voting credentials via email, no matter whether you receive eStatements or paper statements. We have partnered again with eBallot/ VoteNet Solutions, Inc. to support the election process.

2026 Election Candidates
There are currently two positions available. The Nominating Committee has named the following three candidates to run for the next three-year Board of Director term.

All election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting in May at our headquarters.
2026 Election FAQ
Below is an overview concerning this year’s Board of Director’s election. If you have further questions, please contact eBallot/VoteNet Solutions directly at 866.984.3125 or help@eballot.com, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm EDT beginning April 13th.
- Election Timeframe: The election period is April 13 – May 15, 2026 at 11:59pm.
- Qualifying Members: Any member 18+ in good standing as of May 8, 2026 can vote. Joint owners may not vote.
- Election Teller: This year’s election will be facilitated through eBallot/VoteNet Solutions Inc.
- Election Method: This year our election will be heldfully online regardless of eStatement designation. All qualified members with emails in our core system will receive credentials directing them on how to vote online. If a qualified voting member does not have an email on file, does not receive an email or loses their email, they must contact eBallot/VoteNet Solutions Inc. directly at 866.984.3125 or help@eballot.com (Monday- Friday 9am-5pm EDT). Employees will not have access to this information
- Where to Vote: The voting portal is available at www.TransFCU.org/Election. Please click on the “Vote Here” button to begin on April 13th.
- Election Validation Code: All qualified members will receive an Election Validation Code that’s required for voting. The code will be emailed to all qualified members that have an email address in our system. eBallot/VoteNet Solutions will manage the database of voting members and codes. If you lose or forget your code, please contact eBallot/VoteNet Solutions Inc. directly at 866.984.3125 or help@eballot.com (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EDT). Transportation Federal Credit Union employees will not have access to this information.
- Last Name Field: If your last name has a special character such as O’Malley, Johnson-Smith, Joey Mendez Jr., or James III, please enter your name without characters. Spaces are allowed. Ex: Claire Johnson-Smith is entered as “JohnsonSmith”. Or, Brian James III is entered as “James III”.
- Trust Accounts: Trust accounts may vote by using your assigned Election Validation Code, entering “TRUST” in the last name field and submitting the letters “XX” in the birth year field.
- Election Candidates: Employees are not allowed to discuss any information concerning the candidates. Approved candidate profile information will be posted on the website at www.TransFCU.org/Election beginning April 1st.
- How to Return Ballots: The credit union will not be accepting images of online ballot selection or mailing self-designed ballots on behalf of members. Please follow all directions outlined on the online platform. Members must cast their vote online by Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:59pm.
- Paper Ballot request: If you would like to request a paper ballot, please contact eBallot/VoteNet Solutions Inc. directly at 866.984.3125 or help@eballot.com (Monday- Friday 9am-5pm EDT). The deadline to request a paper ballot is May 1, 2026.
- Did Not Receive or Forgot Voting Code: If you do not receive an email with your voting credentials, please check all junk and spam filters. If it is still not available or you have forgotten your Election Validation Code, please contact eBallot/VoteNet Solutions Inc. directlyat 866.984.3125 or help@eballot.com (Monday- Friday 9am-5pm EDT). Voting credentials be released upon validation of your membership.
- Election Announcement: Election winners will be declared at our Annual Meeting scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 20th, noon, at our headquarters (1600 Cameron St. Alexandria, VA 22314). Details for the upcoming Annual Meeting will be posted at www.TransFCU.org/Election in late April.
