2025 Board of Director Nominations Now Open
As a member of Transportation Federal Credit Union, you play a vital role in electing who will serve your interests on the Board of Directors.
Overview
Board elections are conducted annually. Any member lawful resident 18 years or older in good standing is eligible to run. To be considered as a nominee on the ballot, you must complete an application listing your qualifications and interview with the Nominating Committee.
Petition for Nomination
Any member in good standing not selected by the Nominating Committee or who missed the initial nomination deadline may run for election by petition. Petitions must be submitted by 5:00 pm EST on March 4th and signed by a minimum of one percent of the membership as of December 31, 2024 (or 145 members).

Our bylaws provide that an election will not be conducted, and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the Nominating Committee at the email: Elections@TransFCU.org. Director positions are up for re-election every (3) years. If there are more nominees than positions open, there will be an election beginning in April. The results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on May 21, 2025. Information for attending the annual meeting will be posted here in early May.
