Transportation Federal Credit Union Celebrates Sustainability at Alexandria Bike to Work Day Event
Alexandria, VA (May 15, 2026): Transportation Federal Credit Union (TFCU) proudly participated in the annual Bike to Work Day event held in Alexandria on May 15, joining hundreds of commuters, organizations, and local advocates in promoting healthier, more sustainable transportation options across the region.
Bike to Work Day, a nationally recognized event that encourages individuals to swap car commutes for biking, brings together communities to highlight the environmental, health, and economic benefits of cycling. Alexandria’s event featured multiple pit stops throughout the city, offering refreshments, giveaways, and resources for both experienced cyclists and first-time participants.
“Our team was excited to be part of such a positive and impactful community event,” said Wayne Dixon, Business Development Officer. “Bike to Work Day aligns with our commitment to sustainability, employee wellness, and supporting initiatives that reduce our collective environmental footprint.”
