Alexandria, VA (August 10, 2024) – Transportation Federal Credit Union (Transportation FCU) proudly took part in the 3rd annual UNCUT Youth Back-to-School event. The day buzzed with excitement as volunteers handed out over 600 backpacks to kids and teens in the neighborhood, ensuring they were ready and set for the upcoming school year.
Alongside these essentials, the credit union generously contributed a $500 check to further support the cause. The atmosphere was lively, with games, delicious food, and vibrant music filling the air, making it a memorable day for everyone. UNCUT Youth, the organizer of the event, focuses on empowering and guiding young people aged 10 to 17. Their mission is to provide a safe and encouraging space where these children can explore who they are, discover their true potential, and step confidently toward their future.
