College Scholarship Application Now Open

The Miriam Lieb Scholarship is Accepting Applications

Every year, we honor Miriam Lieb, longtime President/CEO of Transportation FCU as well as credit union innovator and leader, with a very special memorial scholarship. Five (5) worthy individuals will each receive a $1,000 Miriam Lieb Scholarship to help pay for higher education, trade school, or vocational school. Recipients will be chosen based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and a 600-800 word essay.

Requirements

Scholarship applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be current member with an account in good standing. New members are welcome to apply.
• Be full-time student enrolled at an accredited four-year university/college or vocational
  school, entering their freshman through senior year the fall of the scholarship award year.
• Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
• Submit an original, typed, and double spaced 600-800 word essay based on the prompt provided.
• Submit community service involvement.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.
