Dare to Soar Writing Competition Now Open
Do you know a middle school student who is interested in aviation or engineering? Our new Dare to Soar Writing Competition is designed just for them!
Application Deadline April 15th!
We are looking for middle school students ages 11-13 who are interested in the thousands of science, technology, education, and math-related careers available at the US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration.
To enter, simply submit an original essay in 600-800 words and include a visual art piece sent as a JPEG, EPG, or a physical version that answers the prompt below. All applications should have both pieces together with their entry.
Design and describe your ultimate dream vehicle. Describe what makes your vehicle special. What features or gadgets does it have? How would it change the way people travel? Please detail features in your artwork.

Contest winners will be announced in May and invited to the Transportation Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting in Alexandria, VA.
